Job Description:
Physical Therapist with experience in manual therapy for spine and extremities with a strong emphasis in exercises that correlates with manual therapy treatment. This is an established P.T. owned orthopedic outpatient following the Institute of Physical Art’s treatment paradigm. This is a clinic that prides itself on great results, service and friendly environment. Patient demographics range from pediatric to geriatric, with orthopedic and sports related diagnosis. Salary based on experience and productivity. Benefits for full time include medical insurance, continuing education reimbursement, and paid vacation.


Practice emphasis is on comprehensive manual therapy interventions utilizing Functional Mobilization and PNF techniques. Our clients receive quality, caring treatment in a friendly environment with strong reputation for returning patients to an active lifestyle.





Daily duties include but are not restricted to:





• 1 hour initial evaluations which incorporates hands on treatment.


• Subsequent visits are typically 30 minutes of hands on manual therapy followed by exercises that correlate with treatment and modalities if indicated.


• Explaining to patients why they are experiencing pain or disability to help them understand their condition better.


• Test and measure the patients' strength, range of motion, balance and coordination, posture, muscle performance, respiration, and motor function;


• Develop treatment plans describing a treatment strategy, its purpose, and its anticipated outcome; examine patients' medical histories;


• Determine patients' ability to be independent and reintegrate into the community or workplace after injury or illness;





Position Requirements:





Current Colorado PT License


Willing to provide track-record of exceptional outcomes (ie: patient or physician testimonials )


Familiarity with Electronic records a plus


Emphasis on getting patients back to an active lifestyle


Heavy emphasis on manual therapy and exercise


Able to stay on schedule while always acting as a professional, reliable, energetic, team player


Ability to balance quality care with efficient treatment


Ability to work some evening hours (until 7pm)
